The flavor of the peas was excellent. Of course baby peas are a bit of a pain because for a lot of shelling you get just a small volume of peas, but the flavor and tenderness is superior to the full-sized ones -- nice for a special treat!

Peas do not thrive in hot weather, so plant them pre-sprouted outdoors in very early spring or in late summer for a fall harvest.
