The scent is typically hybrid musk; you either like it, or not. One nice detail is that when the weather is cooler, the flowers take on a decided pink tinge. I would still have it, but mine got a virus and had to be removed.

Makes an OK cut rose, though the dense blooms (9-12 blooms) tend to drag the stem down. Nicely fragrant, but nothing special in the respect. I grow it on 'Fortuniana' stock here in Central Florida. Big show in March, so wait to prune it until after the spring flush.. Notable: The rose seems to be fairly low in its water needs. I've never seen it wilt. VERY thorny.
