It didn't win the prize for most blooms (see: 'Colorado', and my unfortuna...Read Morete shady-pond problem) but it's impressive when seen in real life. The blossoms on mine also grew to be huge, a good 6 inches on the biggest. If you want something unusual, I'd definately recommend it, but don't get one unless you've got a good 4' round area for it -- mine spread like crazy.

This is a fragrant day bloomer with 21-22 petals. Leaves are greenish with faint purple blotches. New leaves are pinkish to bronze. Plant spread is 4-6 ft.

Beautiful color, does not show as well in a photograph as in person. Strong fragrance. Not as robust as some, but very much worth having.
