Medium sized with thin but firm branches. The leaves are shiny dark green, making the plant easy to identify even without flowers. Fertile flowers are white to greenish white, ray flowers relatively few and the sepals are small. Van Gelderen states, "It is one of the most popular cultivars", but Dirr states that his "overall landscape impression is minimally enthusiastic." Flowers in July.
