A moderately growing shrub with largely fertile flowers that are generally blue to purplish-green (but can be pink), and tightly packed. Only a few florets, purple or pink, double, placed in one or more irregular rings on long stalks, which is unusual. The plant was discovered on the Izu Peninsula. Raised by Hisashi Iida, Japan, in 1970.
