We lived there 11 years, and I used orchids to give a tropical fragrance to my home; this lily has the exact same frangrance and is MUCH easier to grow.

I planted two outside and planned to surround the house with them through propogation, so no matter which way the wind traveled, our home would be filled with that fragrance.....unfortunately the voles loved them. I will need to get more once I have vole-screened garden beds to protect them in. They winter over just fine here in NE Washington.
