This Euc can definitely withstand our rare 10-12 F temperatures just fine and I haven’t seen any leaf burn on the specimens i’ve seen. If you live in Salt Lake or the Wasatch front in (7a+) or anywhere the winters don’t get TOO wet I would give this eucalyptus a try! Hopefully more people around here learn of this beautiful tree and it starts to become more common.

The seedlings grew as high as 30" some much smaller.
One runt is only 2" high with very tiny leaves.
They were outside all winter, some had a little damage to leaves, I think it was sun damage, after a freeze down to 23F. I have given some of these trees to Family members and friends, all here in the Pacific Nortwest, Seattle Area.
We are on Guemes Island in the San Juans, in Washington State, near the Canadian border.
I still have some seed left, I will plant them this spring.
