I found last week in my compost pile, buried under about 6 inches, a little "toe" of this iris which had sprung roots about five inches down, attached itself, and had leaves on it. This is a huge increaser. An excellent performer here.
I have given small rhizomes to friends, and, without exception it has simply taken off.
