I've ...Read Moreheard some use it as a herbal medicinal plant, but I haven't tried it that way. I grew the plants in pots and have not yet tried planting any in the ground. It can be an annual or perennial. It can bloom as early as March if the plant is kept going through two winters. But apparently they usually bloom in late spring or summer here. It can be a host plant for butterflies, but I haven't had any butterflies use my plants so far. Seed is easily germinated. Do not let the plants get too dry. Various common names used, such as Buck's Horn Plantain, Erba Stella, Herba Stella, Minutina, etc.
