Flowers almost from the time it appears in March through to when it dies back in Mid Winter.
Likes a well drained but moist soil in light shade but will also tolerate full sun.
Not a plant for the small garden as it will spread far and wide in the right conditions. Bees adore the flowers and its a valuable plant for early nectar seekers.
