Its form isn't particularly graceful, but when mixed with other plants, it can still fit quite nicely into many planting schemes. After flowering, prune out some of the older growth to stimulate new (and more intensely colored) growth each year.
Can grow 10-12 feet and get scraggly if not cared for (if you like the tidy look...).
