T...Read Morehe shrubs are azaleas and euonymus silver king with a tall backdrop of Burford hollies. There are also some ferns here and there. Anyway, I like the way that the color of Pilgrim, as the season progresses, exactly mimics the color of the Silver King euonymus set off by the solid green of the hollies and ferns. This little hosta is a happy grower in my shady back yard. I used to edge the whole back yard with impatiens, but this came to a halt after downy mildew ruined impatiens. I'm happy with this little hosta. It seems to be a good bloomer, too.
