Appar...Read Moreently it overheard me, because this year, for the first time since I planted it in 2015, it has gone gangbusters. It's a late bloomer for me, starting the third week of April, but it's still blooming massively now, in May, when all my other TBIs except 'Black is Black' have quit for the season. What a beauty! Because 'Let's Fly' has continued to be a vigorous grower but an erratic bloomer in Atlanta, I brought several rhizomes to our summer home in Maine (5b) and planted them in 2021. They were blooming like mad when we arrived the first week of June this year. See THOSE images, above. Up here it blooms at the same time as my other TBI's, so midseason. And it's delightfully fragrant.
