About late ...Read MoreMarch or early April all the leaves & blooms were eaten by caterpillars. It has fully recovered with leaves & blooms & is making seed! Quite exciting !!! I highly recommend this plant. It was totally neglected the 1st 2 years & is hardy enough to come back on it's own. It is a delight to see & will not disappoint!

They were so beautiful and a great experience watching them . In two weeks, a miracle happened and the butterflies continues laying eggs on the leaves, so I was blessed to be able to watch them transform into new and beautiful Monarchs. My neighbors will now plant these plants for next year., I would see them come into by yard to watch this happen, Getting up every morning, as they seem to "hatch" then, and seeing new life of these endangered spices makes a day go great...
