When the weather is sufficiently warm these plants enjoy a spell outdoors. I bring mine back inside at the end of September. Check them for bugs and slugs before bringing back indoors. Once back inside my own Shlumb's soon begin to get buds. The trick now is to not move them around. For some reason they dislike being moved and will show their displeasure by dropping their buds. Even moving a few inches can have them drop their buds. Mine are on a windowsill that faces east with lots of light but little direct sunlight. They do very well there. When I clean around the pots I simply lift the pot, clean around it and replace it in the exact same position.
