Sunsatia hybrids are distinctively different from traditional Nemesias in that they produce more flowers, larger blooms, and flower for a longer period. The plants have greater vigour and excellent branching habits. They come in a range of previously unavailable vivid, luminescent bright colours, and soft pastel shades, and they have the ability to withstand both hot and cold temperatures, though need to be protected from frosts. Sunsatias have received international accolades. The series was unveiled at the 2003 Chelsea Flower Show, and every variety won a Royal Horticultural Society Silver Medal. They are excellent in containers, rockeries and in the garden.
