Update 8/20/2015 - I moved to Plainfield Illinois I was able to purchase seed before they became and endangered species. I germinated some seeds I have two growing in the front of my house one on each side of the drive way. The secret to growing these is total protection first 3 years then partial protection after that there massive size helps them get threw cold winters !! I just wrap the trunks in the winters now there too big !!
