I bought it in a pot that was probably 6 to 8 inches in diameter and it has handled transplanting well. I have watered daily as we've had a very hot and dry period, but it has developed a lot of blooms that are getting read to open or have recently opened. I am happy with it so far and love how it looks. Anyone know if I should remove the spent blooms?

The leaves look more abundant than on the popular "Goblin" variety. I love this Gaillardia, and it looks fabulous in my cottage garden.
