I'm attaching a photo of my husband, 5' 11", standing by the plant. I will move it to another location when the weather gets cold enough. We live in Zone 8b. The soil is mostly sand, not amended and it received very little fertilizer due to our 2013 summer being very, very wet.

Perhaps because mine doesn't get much light, the habit is sprawling & lanky. Rather ugly. I'm cutting it back a lot to induce bushier growth. It does grow very quickly.
The stems are also quite brittle & I have on several occasions accidentally snapped some.

It also propagates easily through layering.
