Dark black purple with faint dusted purple eyezone above triangle lemon to green throat.
I've had no problem growing this plant in my zone 6 garden. But most blooms have been very splochy and not at all nice.
Planted in early summer, did not survive the following winter in zone 5b in a protected spot.
Can produce pretty blooms as seen in the photos - but also have a tendency to give some very ugly, splotchy blooms too.
