It is one of my favorites every year and it is another fine example of the breeding work of Gilbert H. Wild (who is now deceased). This is a hardy plant that has really eye catching form and the coloring is very vibrant. It is very hardy here in zone 6 and is dormant, so is probably quite cold hardy. I considering this one of Wild's best and one of my must have cultivars.

Maybe what I have is not 'Wild One' at all.
