The seeds sprouted but never thrived despite getting all the attention my purple echy's got. The purples thrived as expected; these new cultivars never made it past large seedlings. I had only slightly better luck with PPAF 'Flame Thrower' from seed, have yet to see whether it makes it. I believe there is a great deal of hyperbole as far as the advertisement of these cultivars, since the true results I have heard about and seen rarely reflect the original representation.

I enjoyed all of Firebirds staging and dramatics, Tho I have heard others mention that she may not be as bright a true red as they would have imagined. My flowers, look to be very close to the illustrations in appearance, whether discussing the form or color.
All in all.....I am very happy with my Firebird's and hope to watch their fire dances, for many a times to come.
