Then it bloomed, and the blooms were wonderful. The growth habit for me was more like a hybrid tea than a grandiflora: many single blooms on rather long stems. The rose is more attractive than photos make it look. In photos it tends to look pink or salmon-pink, and it is, but with some yellow down toward the center. It made a beautiful cut flower, although it does not last as long as I would like. And although it does not seem as fragrant as its name suggests, it does have a nice fragrance.
As seems typical with some other "Easy Elegance" roses, it does not have many thorns.
I so liked the rose that I returned to the garden center to get another; but they were sole out by that time. This spring, I plan to get two more, if they have them.
If this rose proves as hardy as it is claimed to be, it will be one of my favorite roses.

This is a terrific rose---vigorous, prolific in its bloom, and highly resistant to black spot. It repeats continuously. The flowers are large (4") and hybrid-tea-like and the color(s) rich and beautiful.
Classified as a grandiflora. The habit is stiffly upright like a grandiflora.
However, despite the name, it has only moderate fragrance.
