Produces numerous bright yellow daisy type flowers during late December in the Northern Hemisphere and June to July in Southern Hemisphere. Leaves are dark green with white fuzzy hairs which gives it a silvery appearance. It roots from cutting or dropped stems.
Its habitat is Natal Province, South Africa, grows in the Lebombo mountains near Jozini up to the Umtasmvuna River on the KwaZulu-Natal/Transkei Border.
