In the heads, individual flowers are slightly larger than average, but not incredibly numerous. Stems are somewhat strong. Foliage is medium-to-dark green, with leaves rounder than average. Grows to about 30" tall in a single season.

It has done wonderfully, and even bloomed for me this year. I do protect for winter by enclosing it in a wire cage and stuffing with shredded oak leaves.
It blooms in pink, but I would love to see it bloom in pink, purple, and blue, but I don't know if it ever will even if I amend the soil. We'll see... If not then it's lovely just the way it is.
