This iris was given to me by a member of the family who first bred this iris, now living in Brandywine area of PA. I grew this successfu...Read Morelly in Philadelphia area, then moved it to OH with me. The color is slightly less copper here in OH than it was in PA, more of a flesh-tone, but then my soil here is 7.2 instead of 6.5 Anyway, LOVE this iris. Spreads slowly in dense growth habit. Seems to suffer from BloomOut a bit. Tolerant of neglect, heat, dry, dogs peeing on them, chickens scratching up the roots, and hoses being run over them. A hardy backyard friend with great sentimental value. Love them.
