Must be deadheaded to prolong bloom. Or, better yet, toss some seeds under/around older plants every few weeks and simply cut out the older plants as the new ones begin to mature. Happily, ours reseed themselves from year to year. They begin to grow in late January to early February and are blooming less than 8 weeks later.
Needs some water during the summer.. every two weeks to once a month, depending on the location and moisture retentiveness of the soil. Easily accomplished w/ gray water.
