I like the combination of pink -- almost purple -- flowers with the fuzziness left from the buds. It's one of those plants that's especially nice with low sun behind it. From a distance it is not showy but up close I love its wild flower quality: it reminds me of early spring woodland plants which I could never grow here.
It's only about six inches high here and the growth habit suggests it will be a good ground cover for sunny, sandy spots.
