This version of it has relatively large spatuate leaves with a slight cupping to them. The most striking feature, however, is it's striking red color the leaves attain in full sun, heat and cold (plants grown in controlled temps in shade have bright green leaves with only a hint of red in them). It is a slow-to-offset plant. It is certainly not a very cold hardy hybrid nearly melting to nothing when temps got down to 25F. No other Echeverias in nearby area (about 25 other varieties) were nearly as severely affected except another large hybrid.
