Daylily 'Stella in Red'

I've seen this plant offered at big box stores and nurseries alike but online searches turn up little information on commercial growers o...Read Morer plant characteristics. For me it is a repeat bloomer with red/orange flowers. The flowers turn a wine red in extreme heat. I would rank this one to be a better red than my Ruby stella which tends to be more on the purple side than red. I have seen Stella in Red being sold that looked more like my Ruby stella however so there is confusion in the trade as to what is being sold. It is a plant worth seeing in flower before purchasing. Flowers are decent sized 4" with Ruby Stella having smaller flowers but also growing taller.
