Not quite the beauty we’ve seen in photographs.
The tree is currently 3.5 feet tall with not much width at all. It is in full sun and in well-drained soil.

It sat in its pot for a good six months before I planted it. Within 2 years it got a good 8 foot tall. (Don't tell me its slow growing) :)
I planted it in mostly sun, in good rich soil. It seeded profusely this year. I have plenty of seeds to experiment with. I haven't counted but would guess 500 seed pods.
I thought it was so cool that it would start to bloom whenever we we going to get rain.

Flowers appear whenever it is warm, particularly if it is humid. Although they are small (1-1.5 cm), the pea-like flowers are bright yellow and plentiful, found all long the branches. Small pods contain one seed. This is a slow growing plant and does very well in a container. A great plant if you can find one!
