Its foliage lasted through most of the 20 F winter. I would pass it and the Hellibores and marvel at autumnalis ability. The foliage did die after many weeks, but it held in there longer than any Eucomis. Despite my neglect and bad positioning, it still flowers. the foliage isn't robust, but I suspect it wasn't always robust from the start. Ive never known it to be a vegetative mess like how some Eucomis get at the end of the season with wild growth.
