This plant looks a LOT like Tylecodon wallichiana, at least in leaf form (thin, tubular, succulent)... but stems are lumpier and hardier ...Read Moreand look like they are woody as opposed to soft, fleshy stems of wallichiana. Both have yellow flowers, but this species has 'yellower' flowers, if that's possible.
As with many other caudiciform Tylecodons this species loses its leaves around early summer and starts growing them back at the beginning of fall
