The past two summers, I've planted it in a container on the patio, along wi...Read Moreth some lower growing moisture loving plants to fill in the composition, and it's turned into a grandly showy specimen at least five feet high. It seems less resentful of a slight drying out than some other Papyri do (I wouldn't push this too far since it is a bog plant.) and it also stood up well to a light frost we had the other night that finished off the coleus in a nearby planter. So far completely pest and disease free. My one disappointment with it is that I haven't been able to get it through the winter indoors. It gradually declines and dies, perhaps from dry air or lack of light. I'm going to try to overwinter it again this winter and if it doesn't make it, I'll gladly buy it again nest spring. Quite a keeper.
