The foliage is more attractive than some other hibiscus and the plant is a good grower. It blooms in clumps of buds and the blooms are beautiful. Always nicely ruffled, the color of the edge varies from day to day. A few days ago it bloomed with a pure cream colored edge, today the flower is edged in pale orange. Other blooms can have a rose or pink edge. Blooms last two days and the dark red eye is shiny and looks lacquered. When I first got the plant and had it outside, it had a problem with some of the large blossoms being too heavy for the stem and causing the flowers to face downward but all winter now, the blooms have faced outward. So far this one is a star of my small collection.
