They...Read More are not a true cucumber, but a member of the melon family (C. melo). They have a delicate cucumber flavor and the skin is thin and edible. I use them as I would a regular cucumber. Will grow up to 24" long, but best flavor in my experience is to pick them at about 12". They are burpless and not bitter at all. Good choice for hot climates. Easy to grow from seed.
