This plant is grown for it's frui...Read Moret and not it's flower which only blooms for one night. Unlike Epiphyllum plants that boom in the day strictly for their flower and do not produce fruit. As a Hylocereus this plant has a tremendous growth rate in temperatures above 80-90 degrees and can easily grow a foot a week. I just topped this plant and placed a trellis around it to hold the off-shoot growth which will give me bloom and fruit.
