Most of it is 1' or 2'. It's wonderful that there's an American variety of holly that grows so low! With its pretty berries and glossy leaves, it's particularly magical in the snow. I never do anything to it except trim dead branches occasionally, and my transplants have been successful. I plan to buy more specimens to border the road under a young oak tree. Very slow growing in the shade--may be faster with more sun and/or more acidic soil.
