The first year it lived in my window sill and was very well maintained, then I had to move a lot of stuff around and it got evicted! My mom took it on for the next year, and sad to say she does not have the greenest of thumbs, and it was outside almost the entire winter, which was one of the coldest and wettest we've ever seen here in North Florida, broke a lot of records. Silly thing still made it through without too much loss, a few brown shoots, and most all lost the tips, but it's rebounded quite nicely this spring.
We decided to repot it last week, and WOW. One HECK of a rootball, very tangled, and long, but we sorted it out and we now have 9, hopefully it expands this summer, because there are a few spots we'd like to use it as ground cover.
I highly recommend this plant for indoors, or even carefully monitored outdoors. It's hard to kill, easy to maintain, and most of all is really fun to pet!
