That last plant lived to maturity and made its own gemmae, which I harvested and planted this spring. One of those plants is now in bloom already. So exciting.
My success rate the second time around was much better than the first time. I'm not quite sure what the difference was. But I think I kept the plants wetter the second time.
I'm not using distilled water anymore. I use rain water. I'm guessing tap water would kill the plants.
