To date 9-2006 he has accumulated over 5000 of these beautiful plants. Harry Butterfield who studied Echeverias and hybridized many of today's favorites was a family friend to Dicks Dad, Clarence Wright who also hybridized Echeverias. Dick feels he learned a great deal from Harry Butterfield and salutes his name by honoring it with neat Aloe.
