It ap...Read Morepeared in about 2009 and I didn't realize what it was; nor it's potential. I wouldn't wish this nightmare on anyone!! It can cause allergic responses; even in those that have had no previous allergies and it stinks. Everything that touches it smells like it! If it pops up in your yard - REMOVE IT - unless you are willing to deal with a most invasive plant! It is prolific and quick to establish if not removed. If you let it go to seed, you will be sorry!!! When the plant dies as the heat comes on, it leaves an upright dead shrub of sticks. I do not consider it suitable for xeriscaping due to all the info I listed above!
