During hot, humid weather, some nodules grow buds that will eventually point upwards. Bloom opens after sunset for one night only. I have both single and double bloomers. White to very pale pink. Very fragrant. Attracts huge moths. I've never had a bloom form a seed head tho. Surprisingly, this plant has survived hard freezes with some need to trip dead wood. Easy to propegate by cuttings in water or soil. Will burn in constant sunlight.
