My wife found on at a local nursery (Heavenly Acres in Emmett Michigan. I put them in this spring in Capac, Michigan, not expecting much for the first year and we had a late hard freeze. There were about 10 fruit that hung on. Today on November 2nd we picked a few. They were excellent! Both of us tasted Lemon, Lime and Orange. The pineapple taste really wasn't there but they were good eating right off the tree. They were not sprayed at all and still did not have any bug bites. They would be great added to any juice or apple sauce and, of course Jelly. I am very happy with both my trees and our newly discovered Nursery.
Ordered this tree from Raintree about two years ago. It lost a year because my neighbors asked me to move it in the middle of its first ...Read Moreyear because they didn't want any shade on their roses. After the move it grew slowly for a year, but toward the end of the 2007 season it began growing faster. It has bloomed and set a small fruit which fell off. All things considered I was impressed with its progress.
As far as I am concerned this is a tough little tree and I look forward to production in future years.
