The...Read More planting instruction say sun to part shade, but I find if given much more than morning sun, this plant doesn't do well. I wouldn't think this would do well in hot, southern climates. Conversely, it would probably take a lot more sun in cooler, more nothern climates.
It can be kind of fussy, so give it rich soil and lots of moisture. Don't let it dry out or else the leaves will brown.
Having said all that, the flowers are as cute as can be and look like puffy pink buttons. It makes a nice ground cover and looks good interplanted with hostas.
