Its grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary are considered simpler, sub-standard. 'Kleene' is such a informal word for the German formal word 'kleine' (transl. small or little). Of course we all know that Berlin is the capital city and one of sixteen states of Germany. So its name 'Berliner Kleene' simply means 'Berlins Small or Little Ones'.

Another hard working border dahlia. Flowers are decent sized and quite a few for the size of this plant.
