To those trying to save the seed: My understanding is this is a hybrid (F1)--a cross between two cucumbers, so saving the seed will not result in the same Double Yield cuke you are used to year after year. Hybrids normally don't reproduce like open-pollinated. Hybrids could come out more like one or the other varieties that was crossed to get this cuke.
Darn! Will just have to keep buying the seed year after year.
If anyone knows of a very similar open-pollinated variety as this one I would love to try it. I would like to be able to save the seeds from year to year.

I have now grown this cucumber to harvest, and can truthfully say, I have never seen such production! There are more flowers on these plants than I've seen on any cucumber and the hum from the bees while pollinating is quite loud.
It produces tons of beautiful 'pickler' type cucumbers that are straight and uniform in size. I prefer picklers to the salad type for fresh eating and these are sweet and tasty. I peel my pickle cukes because of the bitter skins that they all have, but the taste is wonderful.
I have changed my rating from neutral to positive because I can now recommend this cucumber 100%
