I planted this because on Dave Wilson's website, it says this is "One of the highest scoring apricot varieties to date at Dave Wilson Nursery fruit tastings." I don't know who's doing the scoring but they must've lost their sense of taste. I also grow a Royal Blenheim that is 12 years old and about 15' tall. The Blenheim's fruit is exceptional, by far the best apricot I've ever tasted. This is the apricot I grew up eating here in the San Francisco Bay Area. My plan for next winter is to graft as many Blenheim scions as possible onto the Autumn Glo.
