Easy to grow, in direct sunlight and poor/average soil. Water when needed, do not pamper as this will lead to excessive foliage, but no flowers. Produces seeds well, but is not invasive . Needs to be offered and put out for seed production so others can grow it. Unfortunately, very hard to to find unless through a collector...
I was given seeds for this particular flower back in 2003, but didn't get to plant them until Spring of 2005. The seeds were labeled 'La...Read Morerge Lavender', but were nothing close to lavender! Instead, each of three vines produced beautiful light pink flowers with a satiny sheen, something I had never seen before! This has got to be one of the most stunning morning glory colors I've ever grown. The vine is sturdy, produces lots of flowers, and easily sets seeds. It doesn't like competition, however, and won't perform as well if crowded or has too much shade. Full sun is preferred.
