Lanceolatum cultivar group distinguished by quite narrow leaves that drop in fall, as with Eucryphia reduced leaf retention appears to confer greater hardiness.
Produces regionally unique effect when in flower, specimens with high percentage of blooms are startling when encountered. Nearly solid coating of 'Norquinco Valley' with flowers clearly superior to normal examples of the Lanceolatum cultivar group, but this British selection is probably not present at this time on the North American market.
Hummingbirds fight over this (Lanceolatum) and Grevillea victoriae like no others I have seen or grown.
